Enhanced Security Measures Prompt Adjusted Boarding for Trump
The heightened precautions were implemented after the Secret Service discovered what seemed to be a hunting stand near the airport on Friday.
This stand was positioned with a “clear line of sight” toward the location where Trump’s aircraft regularly parks and departs.
FBI Director Kash Patel stated that his agency is spearheading the inquiry, noting that the stand has not yet been connected to any suspect.
“No individuals were located at the scene,” Patel told Fox News Digital, adding that the FBI had dispatched teams to gather evidence and examine nearby cell phone information.
Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi confirmed that agents found the structure during “advance security preparations” before the president’s arrival, stressing that “no individuals were present or involved at the location.”
“While we are not able to provide details about the specific items or their intent, this incident underscores the importance of our layered security measures,” Guglielmi said.
The FBI and Secret Service are continuing their joint probe in collaboration with local law enforcement in Palm Beach County.
